A human being thinks of three time periods in a moment of life that how this moment will be if he/she had done things differently in the past. How this moment will affect their life in the future? The least we think of the time period is present, we forget to enjoy our moments happening right there in front of us.

The question is, why a person need to remember his past? Because if you forget your past you will not be able to learn from your experience & cannot do well if he faces the same situation again. So it is best to learn from your own experiences or from the experiences of others near you.

But why do people say that don’t hang on to your past while we can learn from it. Isn’t it good to hang on to the past and learn? Actually to stop learning from the past is not what is meant to leave the past behind, it is something different.

The thing is that stop beating yourself up for not doing something in the past. If you keep cursing yourself for the things you have done before you will not be able to give your best in the work you are doing at that time. Again in the future when you are doing something related to that work does not give you your desired results you will curse the previous decisions and this will go on. You will keep cursing yourself in your whole life.

So basically if you want to learn from your past experience just take out the good things and celebrate them and keep them going. Note down the mistakes from that experience. Try to avoid those mistakes in the future whenever such a situation like that come. Keep your good things going, learn from your past, implement the outtakes in the future and don’t keep your mind stuck on the past that what will happen if I had done things differently. Keep going and never look back. This thing stops and block your thinking.
